A la Decouverte Bed and Breakfast is conveniently located and offers comfortable rooms with private bathrooms in a quiet and smoke-free home.

The B&B is located in the old port section of the old city. You do not require a car to visit the old city and port area from our location. We are situated really just a few minutes walking from the main sights and attractions:

· Place Royale and Petit Champlain area
· The old port Farmers’ market , the marina and the piers (boat tours and ferry)
· Chateau Frontenac Hotel and Dufferin Terrasse
· Congress center and· Parliament of Quebec
· Plains of Abraham (Battlefields’ Park) and Grande Allee

Your hosts Nathalie and Paul welcome you to their home dating back to the 19th century. Located in the historic borough, it was rebuilt in 1846 after the great fire of 1845 that destroyed that part of the city of Quebec.

A la Decouverte is located in a quieter area. You will enjoy the peaceful ambiance of the old port area with its farmers’ market and walking paths along the marina and piers.

Walking along St-Paul Street nearby, you will find lovely cafes and restaurants as well as antique shops and art galleries. Shopping on St-Jean street is just a few minutes away.
